Style Capital Invests in French Fragrance Brand Essential Parfums
Milan-based private equity firm Style Capital has entered the beauty sector for the first time by taking a stake in Essential Parfums, a French fragrance house known for accessible luxury and transparency.
Style Capital, an independent private equity firm focused on fashion, luxury, and lifestyle, has made its inaugural investment in the beauty industry through a strategic partnership with Essential Parfums.
Essential Parfums was founded in Paris in 2018 by Géraldine and Stanislas Archambault with the aim of democratizing fine perfumery while respecting the artistry of perfumers. The brand emphasizes responsible sourcing, transparency, and accessible pricing, placing its fragrances and the creators behind them at the core of its business model.
Style Capital was founded in 2005 by Roberta Benaglia and typically invests between €20 million and €70 million in high-potential small and medium enterprises. The firm seeks to accelerate international growth, retail expansion, and digital development. Its portfolio includes labels such as Zimmermann, Autry, Soeur, Golden Goose, Re/Done, forte_forte, MSGM, and Twinset.
This marks Style Capital's first move into the beauty sector, broadening its investment scope beyond its traditional fashion and luxury focus.
