Saucony opens first Hong Kong flagship as China momentum builds
Saucony has opened its first flagship store in Hong Kong, a 150-square-metre space at the K11 Art Mall, as the running shoe brand accelerates its expansion in Greater China.
The new store blends performance retail with immersive brand experiences, a strategy the brand has refined across its mainland China network. Its design draws inspiration from Saucony's signature river logo and Hong Kong's urban landscape, featuring flowing architectural lines, a marathon-themed storefront, LED displays, and materials evoking the city's concrete streets.
To mark the opening, Saucony released a limited-edition Hong Kong flagship T-shirt and offers on-site heat-print customisation for selected apparel. The brand also launched a Run As One Hub pop-up in the Art Mall's outdoor plaza, adding an offline activation layer.
The Hong Kong flagship debut comes amid strong growth for Saucony in mainland China. Owned by Chinese sportswear group Xtep, Saucony generated over RMB1 billion (US$140 million) in annual revenue in 2024 and has expanded its mainland retail network to roughly 175 stores, all while maintaining double-digit sales growth.
Saucony now forms part of Xtep's fastest growing business segment, underscoring the brand's rising importance to the parent company's portfolio. The Hong Kong store serves as a flagship for the broader Greater China push, combining retail and community engagement.
