Olive Young Festa to Debut in Los Angeles as K-Beauty Goes Experiential

South Korea's largest beauty retailer Olive Young will host its first US edition of Olive Young Festa in Los Angeles this August, bringing 55 K-beauty and lifestyle brands to a 50,000-square-foot immersive exhibition.

The event will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from August 14-16, running concurrently with KCON LA. It follows the opening of Olive Young's first two US stores in California just weeks earlier.

Designed as “The K-Beauty Playground Festival,” the experience is meant to replicate the discovery journey of shopping at an Olive Young store in Korea, featuring zones inspired by Seoul's iconic shopping districts.

The festival signals a broader retail strategy shift toward experiential events, joining the ranks of Sephoria and Ulta Beauty World. Rather than focusing on individual product sales, Olive Young aims to immerse American consumers in Korean beauty culture and the way Korea shops for beauty.

More than 55 Korean beauty and lifestyle brands will participate in the 50,000-square-foot exhibition, which is designed to mirror a consumer’s journey through an Olive Young store.
