LVMH Sells Patou to Mehta Family's Nirvana Investments
LVMH has sold its stake in fashion house Patou to existing shareholders, the Mehta family, through their investment vehicle Nirvana Investments. The move comes months after creative director Guillaume Henry's departure.
LVMH has divested its ownership stake in the Parisian couture house Patou, transferring the brand to the Mehta family, who were already shareholders. The transaction was carried out through Nirvana Investments, the family's investment vehicle.
The sale marks another significant shift for Patou, which saw the exit of creative director Guillaume Henry just a few months ago. Henry had led the label's creative direction since its revival under LVMH's umbrella.
With the change in ownership, the Mehta family now takes full control of the historic fashion brand, which has been part of LVMH's portfolio of luxury houses. The terms of the deal were not immediately made public.
This ownership transition comes as Patou looks to chart its next chapter without its previous creative lead, leaving its future direction in the hands of the new owners.
