Hill House Hits $110 Million in Sales, Eyes Next Chapter

Six years after its nap dress went viral during the pandemic, Hill House has grown to $110 million in sales and is expanding through collaborations and retail.

Hill House, the New York-based brand behind the viral nap dress, has reached $110 million in sales and is generating profitable double-digit growth. The milestone comes six years after the dress became a pandemic sensation.

The brand has been rolling out a series of collaborations, with its latest partnership involving Williams-Sonoma. These deals are part of a strategy to broaden its product range and reach new customers.

Hill House is also expanding its retail footprint, opening physical stores to complement its online presence. The company was founded in 2016, alongside peers like Dôen, La Ligne and Cinq à Sept, which intentionally avoided the high-burn growth model that led direct-to-consumer brands such as Everlane to struggle.

By maintaining sustainable growth and a strong brand identity, Hill House has managed to sustain momentum long after its initial viral moment.
