CDFI opens 52TOYS 'Ghody' pop-up at Hysan Place in Hong Kong
China Duty Free International has launched a 52TOYS pop-up at Hysan Place in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, marking the first stop on a global tour for the Chinese IP brand's character Ghody.
The activation, set in the heart of Causeway Bay's shopping district, is the inaugural leg of a worldwide tour for 52TOYS' hit IP character Ghody. CDFI described the pop-up as an agile, responsive format intended to promote trendsetting designer toys.
The Hysan Place location was formerly part of the DFS Group network in Hong Kong and Macau and was acquired by CDFI parent China Tourism Group Duty Free Corporation earlier this year.
CDFI, a subsidiary of CTG Duty Free Corporation Limited, said the opening creates an international launchpad for Chinese creative lifestyle brands and reinforces Hong Kong's status as a hub for global product debuts.
The company said it is bolstering its core airport and downtown duty-free operations while unlocking the complementary potential of duty-paid retail as travellers and local consumer shopping habits continue to evolve.
CDFI added that the approach connects with a new generation of shoppers and international visitors and deepens its operational expertise in duty-paid operations.
