Bristol Airport seeks operators for ten new food and beverage units
Bristol Airport has opened a public tender for ten food and beverage units in its extending departure lounge, part of a £400 million terminal upgrade.
The west-country gateway is inviting bids for a mix of quick serve, grab & go, coffee, bread, and premium bar concepts, plus a secret speakeasy bar, all located airside in the departure lounge.
The tender is linked to a £400 million (US$538 million) transformation of the terminal that will lift annual passenger capacity to 12 million. The new units are designed to give operators high-visibility spaces with strong passenger footfall.
The procurement will follow a two-stage process. Interested partners must submit stage 1 requirements through the airport’s In-Tend e-tendering system by midday on 1 September.
Bristol Airport’s head of retail, Kate Gwyther, said the airport is looking forward to receiving proposals from passionate and innovative businesses ready to bring fresh culinary concepts and dynamic hospitality experiences as part of the terminal transformation.
