Avolta Opens Revamped Geneva Airport Food Court as First Phase of Six-Year F&B Contract

Avolta has unveiled a reworked landside food court at Geneva Airport, completing the first phase of a six-year food and beverage agreement that spans 12 locations and more than 3,000sq m.

The renewed food court is located on the departures level before security, a position that makes it reachable both by travellers and by other visitors to the Swiss gateway.

The line-up mixes concepts developed in-house by Avolta — Chef Kebap, Tiger Bites and Brewgate — with the Geneva franchise concept Edwards and the international chains Starbucks and McDonald's.

Alongside the indoor dining space, Geneva Airport's outdoor terrace has been refreshed and now hosts Food Stage, a flexible modular food and beverage format built to accommodate a changing offer over time.

The full contract was announced in January and covers 12 locations taking up more than 3,000sq m. It extends a partnership between Avolta and Geneva Airport that dates back to 2015.

Genève Aéroport chief commercial officer Kristina Mees said the opening of the renewed food court reflected the strength of the long-standing relationship and the close collaboration between the two parties.
