The Glenlivet unveils rum cask 12 Year Old with Changi Airport pop-up
Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail has added a 12 Year Old rum cask finish to The Glenlivet Cask Master's Collection, a travel retail exclusive. The single malt debuts at Singapore Changi Airport through a pop-up with Lotte Duty Free running from 16 October to 25 November.
The new expression is a 12 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky finished in Caribbean rum casks and forms the latest addition to The Glenlivet Cask Master's Collection. It is sold exclusively through travel retail.
The activation sits in Terminal 1 Departure Transit, next to the main Lotte Duty Free store at Changi Airport. The pop-up opened on 16 October and is scheduled to run until 25 November.
At the centre of the space is a sensory bar where travellers can explore the aromas and flavours tied to the collection's various cask finishes. Brand ambassadors are on hand to offer tailored recommendations before guiding shoppers through tastings.
Those tastings are paired with local food bites, including pandan and kopa snacks. The format is designed to combine guided discovery with interactive elements and shopper rewards for passengers passing through the terminal.
The Changi installation follows the wider push by Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail to build out the Cask Master's Collection with finishes that give travellers a point of difference from domestic shelves.
