Singapore Girl launches travel beauty line built around 30 climate conditions
Singapore-born beauty brand Singapore Girl makes its retail debut with a climate-focused travel collection, starting with a Singapore-specific set of 11 items. Its mapping system uses temperature and humidity to guide travellers.
The new brand's first collection targets Singapore's warm, very humid climate and is designed for trips of roughly three to four days. The assortment spans skincare, sun care and haircare, offering a curated selection rather than a fixed routine.
The launch is built on a framework that pairs six temperature ranges with five humidity levels, yielding 30 distinct climate conditions. This model helps align product choices with a traveller's destination and the length of their stay.
Singapore Girl's initial retail rollout occurs this September, beginning in its home market before potentially expanding to other destinations and product categories. The same climate-condition logic could later apply to bodycare, digital travel-planning tools and destination-specific recommendations.
The brand aims to address the diverse environments travellers encounter, from humid tropical heat to cold, dry air and arid conditions. By tailoring offerings to specific climatic triggers, the collection seeks to meet changing skincare and haircare needs during transit and at the destination.
