Shenzhen Duty Free Group Wins Duty-Free Concession at Zhongshan Port
Shenzhen Duty Free Group has secured the arrivals duty-free concession at Zhongshan Port in South China, serving ferry passengers between Hong Kong, Macau and the mainland.
The 110sq m arrivals shop will primarily cater to travelers on ferry services linking Zhongshan with Hong Kong and Macau. In 2025, the port handled approximately 630,000 passengers across routes to Hong Kong China Ferry Terminal, Hong Kong International Airport, Taipa and Shekou.
Routes to Hong Kong and Macau represented over 96% of passenger traffic, providing what Shenzhen Duty Free Group described as a solid customer base with strong spending potential. The company operates a broad duty-free network in its home city of Shenzhen and has experience managing port concessions at Guangzhou Pazhou Ferry Terminal.
Shenzhen Duty Free Group noted that deepening its presence in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area has long been a strategic priority.
