Shark Beauty Expands LED Light Therapy to Body With CryoGlow Clinic Face + Body

Shark Beauty is broadening its at-home light therapy range with CryoGlow Clinic Face + Body, a system created to deliver clinic-style LED treatment to the face and body. The device targets eight aging zones: forehead lines, crow's-feet, frown lines, lines around the lips, smile lines, neck, chest and hands.

The system also includes hot-cold under-eye therapy and is billed as Shark Beauty's most advanced LED device to date.

Chris Hedges, vice president of design and engineering at Shark Beauty, said the main engineering challenge was ensuring a secure fit and consistent LED coverage across the body. The team looked to the existing CryoGlow mask, which adjusts to a range of face shapes, for inspiration.

Hedges added that during development, the brand consulted optical design specialists, who helped create a custom simulation to optimize light delivery to the skin, as well as dermatologists and aestheticians who use light therapy in clinics.

The product marks the first LED system from SharkNinja-owned Shark Beauty intended for both facial and full-body treatment.
