Nolinski Venezia: A Contemporary Luxury Retreat in Venice's Historic Heart

The Nolinski Venezia, which opened in 2023, offers a blend of heritage and modern design in a former stock exchange building steps from Piazza San Marco. With 43 rooms and a focus on privacy and comfort, it has quickly become a standout in Venice's luxury hotel scene.

Located on Calle Larga XXII Marzo, Venice's premier luxury shopping street, the Nolinski Venezia occupies a palatial building that previously housed the Italian Stock Exchange. The façade is adorned with mythical creatures, and the entrance features Art Nouveau wrought-iron gates. On the ground floor, Brunello Cucinelli operates a flagship boutique, adding to the hotel's high-fashion cachet.

The interior design was led by French-Italian duo Yann Le Coadic and Alessandro Scotto, who preserved original elements such as the grand staircase banister and Murano chandeliers. The lobby is situated on the third floor, enhancing guest privacy and exclusivity. The aesthetic marries art-deco with contemporary touches, using lush velvet furnishings in striking deep red and pink tones.

The hotel houses 43 rooms, including 13 suites, each with a distinctive layout and a residential feel. Accommodations are spacious and serene, offering a quiet escape from the city's bustle. Bathrooms are oversized, featuring large bathtubs and copper sinks, while the bedding combines an exceptional mattress with fine Italian linen for maximum comfort.

A standout feature is the library bar on the third-floor lobby, with walls lined by over 4,000 books and plush red velvet seating. This space serves as a sophisticated gathering spot, complementing the hotel's overall ambiance of understated luxury.
