MB&F Opens New Lounge on Madison Avenue in New York
Swiss independent watchmaker MB&F has opened a lounge on the fifth floor of the historic Fuller Building on Madison Avenue. The space is designed for watch enthusiasts to experience mechanical art in a relaxed setting, featuring a cozy living room and presentation areas.
The new MB&F Lounge is located at 595 Madison Avenue, inside the Fuller Building, which dates back to 1929. Overlooking 57th Street, the lounge occupies the fifth floor and was designed in collaboration with long-standing partners Voltige Design & Architecture.
Unlike a traditional retail store, the MB&F Lounge is not intended as a point of sale but as a welcoming environment for collectors and watch lovers. The space includes a living room area, presentation spaces, and an office, allowing visitors to explore MB&F’s creations at a leisurely pace.
To mark the opening, MB&F is launching the LM101 EVO NYC Edition, a limited run of 25 pieces. This model features an 18K rose gold case with a black PVD-treated dial plate and a sunray-brushed finish. It is an evolution of the LM101, one of the brand’s smallest and thinnest Legacy Machines, first introduced in 2014.
The LM101 EVO NYC Edition offers 80 metres of water resistance, a screw-down crown, an ergonomic case with an integrated rubber strap, Super-LumiNova-enhanced displays, a 60-hour power reserve, and MB&F’s patented FlexRing shock absorber. Retail price is set at CHF 77,000 (plus VAT) or US$105,000 (plus tax).
Exclusively available at the new MB&F Lounge in New York, the 25-piece edition represents a sportier, active-lifestyle interpretation of the original LM101. Visitors to the lounge can view the watch alongside the brand’s other mechanical art pieces.
