KMI Brands Sells Noughty Haircare to Komerz

KMI Brands has divested its natural haircare label Noughty Haircare to distribution firm Komerz, as the seller refocuses on licensed fragrance partnerships.

Founded in 2016, Noughty Haircare specializes in vegan, cruelty-free and plant-powered haircare products. The brand has built a strong presence in the UK and international beauty markets, emphasizing transparency in ingredients and formulation decisions.

KMI Brands, a developer of beauty and well-being brands, created and marketed Noughty alongside its other performance-led lines. The company has a reputation for innovation and customer experience.

The sale transfers Noughty to Komerz, a company that connects brands with global markets through omnichannel distribution, including physical stores, online platforms, and HoReCa (hotel, restaurant, café) channels.

Herbie Dayal, Chairman of KMI Brands, commented: “Noughty’s consistent growth since launch is a testament to the strength of the brand and the team behind it. Komerz brings the scale and distribution expertise to take it further.”

The divestiture allows KMI Brands to concentrate on its licensed fragrance partnerships, a strategic shift for the company.
