JW Anderson opens first Paris pop-up boutique near Louvre

JW Anderson has opened a pop-up boutique at 15 Rue du Louvre in Paris, marking the brand's first retail space in the French capital. The store will operate until September 24, offering men's and womenswear alongside curated homeware pieces.

Located steps from the Louvre Museum, the temporary store occupies a ground-floor space designed by London-based Sanchez Benton Architects. The firm, founded by Carlos Sanchez and Tom Benton, blended warm materials and colors to evoke a handmade aesthetic that aligns with creative director Jonathan Anderson's vision.

The boutique features a selection of apparel from JW Anderson's spring/summer 2025 collection, which debuted in June with a mix of utility textures and unexpected fabrications. Alongside clothing, the space showcases curated homeware including re-editions of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's lamps and stools in Scottish oak, Jason Mosseri's Hope Spring Chairs, and ceramics by Akiko Hirai.

Other standout items include antique gardening tools, Lucie Rie mugs, handmade Murano glassware, Welsh blankets, hand-forged nails, Houghton Hall Estate honey, and coffee-flavoured tea from Postcard Teas. Jonathan Anderson described the collaboration as based on things he 'likes and would like to have around me.'

Sanchez Benton Architects previously transformed a 1960s parking structure in London into Peveril Gardens, a public walled garden and artist studios, in 2021. The pop-up is JW Anderson's first standalone retail venture in Paris, expanding the brand's physical presence in a key luxury market.
