Indie Beauty Brands Generate Over $500 Million on TikTok Shop in Past Year
Indie beauty brands on TikTok Shop have collectively earned more than $500 million in the past year, driven by a shift toward practical problem-solving products.
The top 25 indie beauty brands on TikTok Shop amassed $512.8 million in revenue in the 12 months through June 2026, according to data from e-commerce intelligence platform Charm.io. The ranking reflects a growing trend of shoppers turning to TikTok Shop for solutions to everyday concerns like wrinkle reduction, hair growth, and oral care.
Korean skincare brand Dr. Melaxin led the pack with $142.2 million in sales, nearly 28% of the total. Its viral products include Cemenrete Calcium Multi Balm and Peel Shot exfoliators. Dr. Melaxin is owned by South Korean DTC company BRAND501 Corp.
Men's grooming brand Based Bodyworks ranked second with $50.6 million, followed by hair growth specialist Bask and Lather at $29 million. Oral care company GuruNanda placed fourth with $23 million, and haircare brand Canvas Beauty rounded out the top five at $20.6 million.
Together, the top five brands accounted for $265.6 million, or 51.8% of the list's total sales. Charm.io defines indie brands as those operating independently of major beauty conglomerates, even if owned by smaller parent companies.
