Hyatt Debuts The Unbound Collection in Thailand with THE BARAI HUA HIN

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened THE BARAI HUA HIN, marking the first Unbound Collection property in Thailand, transforming a renowned spa into a boutique resort.

THE BARAI HUA HIN, located in Hua Hin, Thailand, has opened as the first property under The Unbound Collection by Hyatt in the country. Originally launched as a spa 20 years ago, the venue earned a global reputation for fusing Thai healing traditions with modern Western wellness. It has now been expanded into a full boutique resort.

Designed by architect Lek Mathar Bunnag, the resort draws inspiration from the elemental forces of water, fire, earth, and air. The design features shaded corridors, sculptural forms, tranquil courtyards, and water features that encourage a slower, more reflective state.

The property offers two pools: the Forest Pool, a shaded lagoon-like setting at the heart of the resort, and the Beach Pool, an oceanfront counterpoint overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. Guests can also explore nearby attractions such as Kui Buri National Park, Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, and Phraya Nakhon Cave.

Hua Hin has long been a seaside escape, originally a quiet fishing village that became a retreat for Siamese nobility in the early 20th century. THE BARAI HUA HIN continues this legacy of easy-going elegance and restoration, grounded in classic Thai hospitality.
