Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan to close for two-year renovation

Dorchester Collection has announced one of the most significant investments in the history of Hotel Principe di Savoia, its iconic Milan property. The extensive restoration aims to prepare the hotel for its next century while preserving its cherished character.

The hotel will temporarily close from 1 January 2027 and is expected to reopen in 2029. The project represents a powerful expression of confidence in Milan and its future, according to the company.

Upon reopening, the hotel will feature significantly enlarged guestrooms and suites, along with a limited collection of private residences. New amenities will include a spa and wellness destination, vibrant dining options, and a rooftop venue overlooking Milan’s evolving skyline.
