CNSC wins arrivals duty-free concession at Quanzhou Jinjiang Airport
Sinopharm-owned China National Service Corporation (CNSC) has secured the arrivals duty-free contract at Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport, giving it control of both departures and arrivals duty-free stores at the Fujian province gateway.
The new arrivals store will cover approximately 93 square metres. The airport serves Fujian province in southeast China, with key flight destinations including Hong Kong, Macau and various Southeast Asian cities.
CNSC, a subsidiary of Sinopharm, said in a statement that the airport's duty-free operations are supported by China's 24-hour visa-free transit policy, as well as demand from overseas Chinese returning for homecoming visits, cross-border business travellers and international tourists.
The company plans to cater to these passenger segments by curating a selection of core product categories such as beauty, liquor and tobacco, alongside specialty foods.
With the addition of the arrivals concession, CNSC now manages both the departures and arrivals duty-free stores at Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport, strengthening its position in China's travel retail market.
