Charlotte Tilbury opens first Asia Pacific travel retail boutiques at KLIA and Bangkok

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty is expanding its airport footprint in Asia Pacific with dedicated stores rather than traditional duty-free fragrance and cosmetics counters. The boutiques are built around product discovery, makeup artistry and personalised service.

The first location opened in July at Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s Terminal 1 Satellite Building, in partnership with Malaysian travel retailer Dimensi Eksklusif. The brand marked the debut with the 'Unreal Summer Airport Takeover', an activation inspired by Malaysia’s tropical setting.

Travellers at KLIA could explore the Unreal range and use express beauty touch-ups before departure. They also received branded fans and could take selfies in an Unreal photo area featuring sense-of-place elements.

The Unreal portfolio combines skincare and makeup, aligning with the growing 'skinimalism' trend and designed for quick, easy application by travellers on the move.

In Bangkok, Charlotte Tilbury has partnered with King Power at Suvarnabhumi Airport, extending the standalone boutique format to Thailand. The two openings broaden the brand’s presence in Asia Pacific travel retail.
