AI-TS airport trolley platform relaunched under Lighthouse Trust's DIAS
Singapore-based Lighthouse Trust has acquired the technology and intellectual property behind Intelligent Trolley Service and relaunched the platform as AI-TS under its Danish aviation technology arm, DIAS.
The acquisition from the CPHI Holding estate follows financial difficulties at ITS’s previous owners. The core technical, product and project teams are joining DIAS as part of the relaunch.
AI-TS keeps the same physical trolley used in earlier deployments at major airports in Europe, the Middle East and India, but replaces much of the software behind the passenger-facing screen. DIAS Chief Commercial Officer Morten Pankoke said the trolley will look familiar to previous users, while the rebuilt screen experience should feel different immediately.
The platform is designed to provide personalised flight information and terminal navigation while also pointing passengers toward shopping and dining options. Those services sit alongside digital advertising, linking passenger assistance with airport commercial opportunities.
DIAS is targeting international expansion for AI-TS, combining passenger support with airport retail, dining and advertising. The business sits under Lighthouse Trust’s aviation technology arm, with operations linked to Denmark and Singapore.
