Cavu unifies three travel-tech platforms under single brand
Cavu, the travel technology company owned by Manchester Airports Group (MAG), has rebranded its ecommerce, distribution and lounge platforms under one identity to simplify its offering to clients.
Cavu, a travel technology business created by Manchester Airports Group (MAG), has consolidated its three core platforms – Cavu Commerce, Cavu Connect and Cavu Lounges – under a single brand identity. This marks the first time the company has presented its diverse capabilities as a unified suite.
Cavu Commerce is an ecommerce and revenue management solution for airports and travel retailers. Cavu Connect serves as a global distribution network, while Cavu Lounges (formerly known as Escape Lounges) provides premium lounge operations. The rebrand aims to position Cavu as a one-stop partner for non-aeronautical revenue growth.
Managing Director and MAG Chief Technology Officer Nick Woods said that while different parts of the market knew Cavu for individual offerings – such as lounge services or ecommerce – the company now wants clients to see the full breadth of its portfolio. “We are bringing those capabilities together under one connected brand,” Woods explained.
The rebrand represents the next phase of Cavu’s growth strategy and its broader introduction to the global aviation market. Cavu was originally founded by MAG to commercialise in-house technologies developed at its own airports.
The unified brand is expected to help airports, brands and travel businesses unlock revenue opportunities across the entire passenger journey, from pre-trip shopping to lounge experiences and beyond.
