Avolta takes two 11-year F&B contracts at Brasília Airport, opening first hybrid retail-dining concept in Brazil

Avolta has secured two 11-year food and beverage contracts at Brasília International Airport, extending its long-running retail presence there into dining and launching its first hybrid retail and F&B concept in Brazil.

The two contracts cover the domestic airside area of Brasília International Airport and bring in a pair of separate concepts: Vista Corona and Johnnie Walker Bar. The award stretches a retail partnership at the Brazilian hub that has already run for more than 15 years into a new category for the operator.

Brasília International Airport is one of Brazil's leading domestic hubs, handling 15 million travellers in 2025, according to the company.

Johnnie Walker Bar becomes Avolta's first hybrid retail and food and beverage concept in Brazil. It sits inside the operator's main duty-paid store, with the premium bar and food offer blended into the surrounding retail environment.

Avolta describes the format as an integrated experience in which travellers can discover the brand, try selected food and drink pairings and explore products before purchasing in the store, combining brand visibility with an immersive sensory element.

Vista Corona gives the Corona brand a dedicated food and beverage setting in the airport's domestic departures area, which Avolta characterises as a welcoming space with a curated selection of food and beverages.

Gustavo Fagundes, chief executive of Avolta Brazil, said the contracts carry the company's long-standing presence at Brasília International Airport into the food and beverage segment.
