Intake Breathing secures $62M from Camino Partners to push nasal strips into retail

Direct-to-consumer nasal strip brand Intake Breathing has raised $62 million from Camino Partners, the investment firm founded by Kind Snacks founder Daniel Lubetzky, to fund a move into physical retail and expand its internal operations.

The funding was announced this week by the direct-to-consumer brand, which sells nasal breathing tabs designed to open airflow. Camino Partners, the firm launched by Kind Snacks founder Daniel Lubetzky, provided the $62 million investment.

Intake Breathing co-founder and CEO Alex Hauck said the capital will be directed largely toward growing the company's internal team and supporting its retail rollout, adding that the business wants to bring in experience from someone who has overseen that kind of expansion before.

At present, the brand sells through its own ecommerce site and on Amazon. Hauck said the company has posted triple-digit growth over the past three years and has sold more than 100 million pairs of breathing tabs since launching in 2023.

The raise lands as nasal breathing gains traction as a consumer wellness category. Interest in the space extends beyond supplements and skin care into everyday habits, with brands such as Hostage Tape and ZzzTape emerging in recent years around the mouth-taping trend.

As consumer companies reposition functional products as lifestyle essentials, optimizing airflow and restful sleep have moved to the forefront of the wellness industry.
