Peach & Lily launches senolytic ‘Zombie Cream’ at Ulta Beauty
Peach & Lily has introduced a $59 moisturizer called Advanced Rebound BioGlow Zombie Cream, available exclusively at Ulta Beauty in over 1,500 stores and online.
The product, which launched Monday, is the brand’s first foray into senolytics—a science focused on targeting senescent cells, often called ‘zombie cells.’ These are cells that have stopped dividing but linger, potentially contributing to visible aging.
Rather than claiming to remove zombie cells, Peach & Lily says the formula helps reduce visible signs associated with them, such as loss of firmness, dullness, and wrinkles. The cream represents three years of research and development.
Ulta Beauty is heavily backing the launch with front-of-store secondary placement, additional endcap space, and primary positioning on its website. The product also appears on the cover of the August issue of Ulta Beauty Magazine.
The 12-month retail exclusivity agreement gives Peach & Lily a prime channel to educate consumers on senolytic skincare. The brand hopes to follow the path of peptides in turning complex science into a mainstream category.
‘Zombie cell’ awareness spiked after a 2011 Mayo Clinic study showed that removing senescent cells could slow age-related decline in mice. Peach & Lily aims to translate that longevity research into consumer beauty.
