U.S. Polo Assn. Hits Record $2.7B in Sales as Younger Shoppers Drive Growth
U.S. Polo Assn. reported a record $2.7 billion in sales for 2025, fueled by a larger store footprint and rising demand among Gen-Z women and Gen-Alpha boys.
The apparel brand, founded in 1890, saw annual sales climb from $2.5 billion in 2024. North America remained its largest market, while India emerged as the fastest-growing region.
U.S. Polo Assn. credited much of its momentum to a stronger social-media presence and a revamped store fleet in key cities including Miami and New York City. The brand said it is attracting increased demand from Gen-Z women and Gen-Alpha boys.
Despite polo's long association with elite status, the company is positioning itself as a lifestyle brand open to everyone. Many of its signature polos retail for $48 or less, compared with $110-plus at Polo Ralph Lauren.
"Our great price-to-value proposition really matters to working families and young consumers all over the world," said J. Michael Prince, president and CEO of USPA Global, which manages and markets the brand globally. "We've got a great team, great partners [and a] really strong brand, and we continue to build brand awareness."
The brand currently operates 1,200 stores and 60 e-commerce sites worldwide. Approximately 55% of its business comes from traditional wholesale accounts, while 25% comes from its own retail fleet.
