Stoke Park to Reopen in October 2026 With Five Dining Venues by Chef Tom Sellers
The 300-acre Buckinghamshire estate will emerge from a years-long restoration with five new dining concepts created by Tom Sellers and HiStory Hospitality, the team behind London's two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Story.
Stoke Park has been closed to the public since Reliance Industries, the Indian oil-to-telecom conglomerate, bought the Buckinghamshire estate in 2021 for £57 million. The group is chiefly controlled by billionaire Mukesh Ambani, who in 2024 hosted the UK leg of his son's wedding celebrations on the grounds.
Chef Tom Sellers developed the five new food and drink concepts with chefs Dom Robinson and Tom Phillips and with HiStory Hospitality, the company behind his two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Story in London. Carolina Seibel, HiStory Hospitality's group head of beverage, has curated the estate's wine cellar, while beverage manager Giuseppe Masala has shaped the bar and cocktail programme.
The flagship will be The Penn, named after John Penn, featuring a 48-cover dining room and a private dining room that seats eight. Its seasonal a la carte menu is described as shaped by British culinary history, with dishes including terrine of spiced pig's head with Scottish langoustine, roast wild sea bass with Orkney scallop, fish of the day en papillote, and venison Wellington Rossini.
Produce from the Stoke Park Kitchen Garden, led by Kate Mannery, former head gardener at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, will feed into the menu as the seasons change.
The Penn will be joined by four further venues: The Piano Bar, The Terrace & Glasshouse, The Tea Room and The Clubhouse.
