Skin Design London Unveils First Beauty-Tech Device at Harrods

The SDL Tighten Boost packs four LED wavelengths, radiofrequency, EMS, microcurrent and electroporation into a single hand-held tool, based on Shaheen's Dermal Matrix Tech system that was first developed for in-clinic use before being validated for cosmetic application at home.

Shaheen, who has worked with clients including Kim Kardashian, Naomi Campbell and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, said the device condenses her 18 years of skin expertise into five modes, which she likens to chapters in a book. “This is my book,” she said, referencing her technology-led approach to quick, long-lasting transformation.

Positioned as an at-home extension of Skin Design London’s skincare portfolio, the device is designed to enhance an existing routine and took two years to develop, according to the founder. The launch marks the brand’s entry into the beauty-tech category and expands its offering beyond high-performance, low-irritation skincare products.
