Paradies Lagardère opens five locally inspired retail concepts at Portland International Airport
The travel retailer has partnered with Port of Portland to launch five new stores at PDX, spotlighting Oregon brands, independent makers and community institutions.
The newly opened lineup includes The Skanner News, Sheridan Fruit Company, Market 503, Rose City Market and Cascade Market, each designed to reflect a distinct aspect of Portland’s identity. The concepts bring together heritage names, local artisans and Oregon-made products across the terminal.
The Skanner News and Sheridan Fruit Company anchor the group with deep community roots, while Market 503 emphasizes neighborhood-focused offerings. Cascade Market leans into Pacific Northwest themes, and Rose City Market draws on the city’s floral heritage.
Port of Portland Chief Aviation Officer Dan Pippenger said the partnership continues PDX’s tradition of regional pride. “We’re excited to welcome even more local brands with deep community roots to PDX,” he added, noting that travelers can now connect with more products created in the Pacific Northwest.
The openings reinforce Paradies Lagardère’s broader strategy of destination-led, locally driven airport retail across North America.
