Montblanc unveils Spring/Summer 2027 Leather Collections in Milan

Montblanc presented its Spring/Summer 2027 Leather Collections during Milan Men’s Fashion Week, marking the 100th anniversary of its leather goods. Creative director Marco Tomasetta showcased designs that fuse writing culture with leather craftsmanship.

The event took place at the Salone dei Tessuti in Milan, where Montblanc celebrated a century of leather craftsmanship. Oversized installations included the Writing Traveler briefcase, reimagined as a playful, exaggerated version of the iconic design.

The Writing Traveler, inspired by a 'cabinet of curiosities,' features dedicated pockets and slots for writing instruments, notebooks, small leather goods and watches. Its DNA also inspired the new Soft Traveler line, crafted from suede and grain leathers with softer, more fluid shapes.

At the center of the showroom, the Tree of Writing was reinterpreted with leather accents, using surplus Montblanc leathers in textured compositions at its roots. The installation paid tribute to the anniversary while recalling the brand's origins as a protector of writing.

Artisans demonstrated the making of leather pen pouches at a workbench, and the Montblanc Desk offered guests a space to write, embodying the 'Art of the Desk' concept. The collections reflect master craftsmanship and a blend of practicality and elegance.
