Maesa Opens Applications for 2027 Magic Incubator
Maesa has launched the fourth edition of its Magic Incubator, offering grants, AI education, mentorship, and industry access to underrepresented beauty founders.
The beauty incubator behind brands such as Kristin Ess, Fine'ry, Being Frenshe, Mix:Bar, and Hairitage by Mindy McKnight has opened applications for its 2027 Magic Incubator program. The initiative is designed to help emerging founders from underrepresented backgrounds scale their brands.
The expanded program includes increased funding, new advisory board members, and a stronger focus on artificial intelligence education, reflecting the evolving realities of modern brand building. Maesa CEO Piyush Jain said in a statement, "It is exciting to see the compounding impact of the program that makes the beauty industry more inclusive and representative."
As venture capital funding becomes more selective and barriers to capital, mentorship, and retail networks persist, corporate-backed incubators are emerging as vital gateways into the beauty industry. Maesa's program aims to serve as a long-term talent pipeline, combining education, executive mentorship, and industry access.
The incubator emphasizes practical support over mere investment, helping founders achieve commercial scale. Applications are now open for the 2027 cohort, targeting founders who lack traditional access to beauty industry resources.
