Louis Vuitton Relocates and Expands Boutique in Kyoto's Daimaru Department Store

Louis Vuitton has moved to a larger ground-floor unit within the Daimaru department store in Kyoto, featuring a backlit Damier-pattern façade and contemporary interiors.

The French luxury house now occupies a prominent corner on the ground floor of the multi-storey Daimaru department store in Kyoto. The new boutique neighbours other high-end brands such as AMI, Valextra and Comme des Garçons Pocket.

The store design, developed in-house, is highlighted by a distinctive backlit façade that showcases Louis Vuitton's iconic Damier pattern. Inside, the space combines elegance with modern touches, including soft lighting and intimate display nooks.

The boutique offers a full range of the brand's latest collections, including leather goods, accessories, ready-to-wear, shoes, fine jewellery, fragrances and travel bags. The women's section is styled with bright, feminine tones, while the men's area uses darker, masculine colour palettes.

The relocation represents an upgrade from the brand's previous location within the same department store, giving Louis Vuitton greater visibility and floor space in one of Kyoto's premier shopping destinations.
