London EDITION leans on design, dining and culture to stand out in luxury hotel market
Paul Walters, general manager of The London EDITION, describes the property as a leading luxury lifestyle hotel that aims to be more than a place to stay. It brings together design, dining and mixology with a programme of cultural experiences, creating a meeting point for guests, the local community and London’s creative scene.
The hotel’s guest profile is predominantly international, with particularly strong demand from the United States and the United Arab Emirates, alongside travelers from key European markets and other long-haul destinations. At the same time, a strong local following forms an important part of the hotel’s identity, Walters said.
The interior design blends Georgian heritage with a contemporary urban edge. The site traces its origins to a collection of Georgian townhouses dating from around 1835, and the hotel combines London’s architectural past with modern design.
The London EDITION’s positioning in the capital’s luxury hotel market rests on that mix of design, food and drink, cultural programming and a dual guest base of international visitors and Londoners.
