Hong Kong developer offers Mercedes-Benz cars to luxury homebuyers

K&K Property is giving away Mercedes-Benz vehicles to buyers of high-end homes worth HK$50 million or more, as the city's luxury property market rebounds.

K&K Property has launched a promotion offering luxury Mercedes-Benz cars to buyers of its high-end residential units in Hong Kong's Southern district, aiming to capitalise on a resurgence in the luxury housing segment.

Under the scheme, purchasers of units valued at HK$100 million or more will receive a Mercedes-Benz S-Class W223 sedan, worth about HK$1.64 million (US$209,000). Those buying homes priced between HK$50 million and HK$99.9 million will get a Mercedes-Benz GLC X254 SUV, valued at approximately HK$643,000.

Only two cars are available on a first-come, first-served basis, limiting the total giveaway to a maximum of HK$3.2 million. A company spokeswoman said the promotion is designed to encourage potential buyers to accelerate their purchase decisions.

The move comes as Hong Kong's luxury property market shows signs of recovery, with developers seeking creative incentives to attract wealthy buyers.
