Hamad International Airport Opens Travel Recovery Studio for Wellness Breaks
Qatar's Hamad International Airport has introduced the Travel Recovery Studio at Orchard Concourse C, offering complimentary 20-minute wellness sessions to passengers between 6 September and 25 October.
Located at Orchard Concourse C, the Travel Recovery Studio gives travellers a structured pause in the middle of the airport journey. Each session runs for 20 minutes and blends breathing exercises, gentle stretching and movement, led by experienced instructors.
The sessions take place on red light therapy recovery mats, which emit warm, low-level light intended to encourage relaxation. Organisers say the format is designed to help passengers release tension, improve physical comfort and reach their next flight feeling refreshed.
The studio is open to passengers aged 18 and above, subject to capacity. Sessions are scheduled from Sunday to Thursday between 4:30pm and 7:30pm, and the experience is complimentary.
The concept began on 6 September and runs through 25 October. According to the airport, the initiative reflects its broader focus on passenger comfort and wellbeing throughout the journey.
The setting is the Orchard, a 6,000sq m indoor tropical garden containing more than 300 trees and 35,000 plants sourced from around the world. The space is positioned as a quiet spot where travellers can step away from the bustle of the terminal.
