Eason Chan Buys Hong Kong Luxury Home for US$23 Million
Hong Kong singer and actor Eason Chan has purchased a luxury property in the city's Southern district for HK$182.53 million (US$23.29 million), joining a wave of celebrity home buyers.
The four-bedroom unit at Belgravia, a low-density development on South Bay Road in Shouson Hill, spans 2,801 square feet and includes a garden. The transaction, recorded at HK$65,166 per square foot, was signed on June 9, according to Land Registry records.
Chan, best known for winning a singing competition with the Cantonese song "Moon Gazing," adds his name to a list of celebrities who have recently invested in high-end Hong Kong real estate. The purchase highlights continued demand for luxury homes in the Southern district.
