Eagle Bar at The Chancery Rosewood Expands with Second Terrace Venue
The Eagle Bar at The Chancery Rosewood has opened a second terrace venue on the seventh floor, introducing Upper West overlooking Hyde Park and rebranding the original space as Upper East.
The new venue, named Upper West, is designed as an aperitif-focused destination centered on outdoor socializing and sunset views, aiming to capture the energy of golden-hour gatherings for informal celebrations and relaxed social occasions.
In contrast, the original Eagle Bar has been rebranded as Upper East, offering views across Grosvenor Square and continuing its concept inspired by classic American bars. Upper East focuses on expertly crafted cocktails, premium spirits, and refined service in an intimate setting enhanced by live piano performances.
Both venues are positioned on opposite sides of the property's central atrium, creating complementary spaces that cater to different social occasions and guest preferences while maintaining the elevated hospitality experience associated with The Chancery Rosewood.
The original Eagle Bar launched in September 2025, and the expansion builds on its success by offering distinct atmospheres: Upper West for lively terrace gatherings and Upper East for sophisticated cocktail culture.
The cocktail menu at Upper East pays tribute to iconic American drinking culture, reinterpreting classic serves through contemporary techniques and ingredients.
