Capella Hotel Group Unveils Wellness Residences in Bangkok
Capella Residences Bangkok will offer 262 units as part of a $188 million mixed-use development combining luxury living with preventative healthcare and wellness amenities.
Capella Hotel Group has announced Capella Residences Bangkok, a 262-unit project that will serve as the centerpiece of WellEra, a 29-billion-baht (approximately $188.1 million) mixed-use development in the Thai capital. The development blends healthcare, science, technology, and lifestyle into an interconnected ecosystem.
The residences will link directly with BDMS Wellness Clinic’s urban wellness retreat and WellEra’s lifestyle and retail offerings. The project reflects Thailand’s growing wellness real estate market, which is part of a wellness economy valued at $42.7 billion in 2024, ranking the country 24th globally, according to the Global Wellness Institute.
Thailand has become a hub for wellness-integrated branded residences, with existing projects such as ROMM Convent and Amanpuri Residences catering to demand for health-centered luxury living. Capella Hong Kong’s property, Capella Bangkok, was named the World’s Best Hotel in 2024 by 50 Best.
At the Global Wellness Summit’s 2026 Wellness Real Estate & Communities Symposium, neuroaesthetics emerged as a key trend in wellness real estate. The practice connects design with emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being through elements such as color, scent, texture, and lighting.
