Byredo expands to Sephora U.S. stores and online

Niche fragrance house Byredo will launch at 24 U.S. Sephora locations and on Sephora's website starting September 3, marking a major retail expansion beyond its own boutiques.

On September 3, Byredo will debut at 24 Sephora stores across the U.S. and on Sephora's e-commerce site. The move positions the niche fragrance brand within a major beauty retailer for the first time in the American market.

Participating doors include the Aventura Mall in Miami, South Coast Plaza in Newport Beach, and the Soho store in New York City. These locations will offer a curated selection of Byredo's scented products, including perfumes, candles, and the complete body mist line.

Sephora will also serve as the exclusive retail partner for Alto Astral, a body mist Byredo launched through its direct-to-consumer channels in June. This partnership gives Byredo access to Sephora's broad beauty audience while expanding its own distribution strategy.

Sephora's senior vice president of fragrance merchandising, Carye Campbell, said in a statement that Byredo brings a distinctive luxury point of view to the retailer's evolving fragrance assortment, combining craftsmanship, storytelling, and a strong cultural following.
