BFA Leverages Technology to Transform Dining at Antalya Airport

BFA, the joint venture managing food and beverage at Antalya International Airport, is deploying digital ordering and QR-based delivery to enhance passenger experience.

BFA, a joint venture between BTA (60%) and Fraport (40%), oversees approximately 10,000 square meters of food and beverage space at Antalya International Airport. CEO Baha Bülbül emphasizes that technology is critical to serving the vast number of travelers efficiently, especially during peak times.

Digital ordering screens are already in use at fast-moving outlets to speed up service. Next year, BFA plans to introduce QR codes in gate areas, enabling passengers to order from any restaurant in Terminal 2 and have the food delivered to their location.

The initiative is part of BFA's broader strategy to manage the airport's extensive F&B footprint. Bülbül notes that the company's strong technological backbone and infrastructure support are key to handling the demanding operational environment.
