Airport Pharmacy unveils flagship Health & Beauty store at Melbourne Airport

Airport Pharmacy has opened its largest Health & Beauty store to date, a 160sq m flagship at Melbourne Airport Terminal 3 featuring luxury fragrance brands and a full travel health range.

The new store, which opened this week in the terminal used by Virgin Australia domestic services, is the company's most ambitious retail space yet. It marks a departure from simply downsizing a typical high-street pharmacy, with a design tailored specifically to traveller behaviour, according to Director Rajiv Bhindi.

Spanning approximately 160sq m, the space brings an updated design concept that includes large-format digital screens, illuminated brand displays and a mirrored feature entrance. The layout aims to reflect how people shop while in transit, rather than replicating a downtown store in a smaller format.

The product line-up is described as the strongest luxury offer yet for a domestic terminal, with brands including Tom Ford, Jo Malone London, YSL and Giorgio Armani. Alongside prestige beauty, the store carries a broad selection of derma skincare, suncare, haircare and travel essentials.

Staying true to its pharmacy heritage, the store also stocks over-the-counter medicines, vitamins and supplements. Bhindi said domestic travellers deserve a beauty experience comparable to the best duty-free environments, calling the store a clear statement of that ambition.
