Sibylla to open Stockholm Arlanda Terminal 5 outlet in mid-October

Swedish fast-food brand Sibylla will add a unit inside Stockholm Arlanda Airport's Terminal 5 Marketplace in mid-October, deepening the airport's affordable dining line-up. The outlet will be run by family-owned RC Group, which already operates several concepts in the same commercial zone.

The Sibylla restaurant will sit within the Marketplace commercial development at Terminal 5, a space where operator RC Group already runs a number of dining concepts. The opening is scheduled for mid-October.

The menu centres on Sibylla's signature Swedish hot dogs, served in bread, with mashed potatoes or wrapped in flatbread. The format is aimed at travellers looking for fast, low-cost food while moving through the terminal.

Swedavia Chief Commercial Officer Aron Backström said the airport's aim is for eating and shopping to sit naturally within the passenger journey, with Marketplace bringing together both Swedish and international names to serve a spread of needs, tastes and budgets. He described Sibylla as a strong addition that pairs Swedish tradition with an affordable price point.

RC Group founder and co-owner Charlotta Söör said the group was pleased to bring Sibylla into the airport, framing the move as a way to make travel a little easier and more enjoyable for passengers.

Swedavia is continuing to develop the Marketplace, its flagship 11,000sq m retail and food & beverage space at Arlanda. The Sibylla addition is intended to strengthen domestic brand representation at the airport alongside the wider dining offer.
