Sephora to Enter 100 Marks & Spencer Stores From Spring 2027 as UK Comeback Builds

Sephora plans to open shop-in-shops inside 100 Marks & Spencer stores from spring 2027, part of the beauty retailer's UK comeback after an 18-year absence, according to Europe and Middle East president Catherine Spindler.

The format will be called Sephora at M&S and will appear in selected Marks & Spencer locations as well as on the British retailer's website. Specialist beauty teams will support customers inside the stores.

Spindler, who heads Sephora's operations across Europe and the Middle East, spoke a day after the two retailers disclosed the tie-up, describing the trajectory since Sephora's return to the UK market as promising.

Sephora has already opened 18 standalone stores in the country. Spindler said those openings have performed well and that its digital business is expanding quickly, alongside work to rebuild its cultural relevance and identity in Britain following the 18-year absence.

She said Sephora will keep opening its own stores but wanted to find a way to move further and faster, which shaped the decision to seek a high-profile partner in the UK market.

The arrangement pairs Sephora's beauty retail identity with Marks & Spencer, one of the country's best-known retailers, in a market Sephora re-entered relatively recently.
