Rosewood AMAALA Opens in Saudi Arabia’s Triple Bay Wellness Destination
Rosewood AMAALA has officially opened in Triple Bay on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern Red Sea coast, featuring 110 pool villas, an Asaya wellness center, and eight dining venues across a 40-hectare site where the Tabuk mountains meet the region’s barrier reef.
The resort marks the latest addition to AMAALA, a purpose-built wellness destination along the Red Sea. Positioned between the Tabuk mountains and the world’s fourth-largest barrier reef, the property spans 40 hectares and is designed to integrate with the natural landscape.
Architecture firm ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel led the design, while Tristan Auer crafted the interiors. Every accommodation faces the Red Sea and comes with a private pool, a sand-lined terrace, and seamless indoor-outdoor living spaces.
The 110 pool villas range from suites to lavish family and royal villas. One-bedroom villas and above include full kitchens, outdoor barbecue areas, and dedicated butler service, with private chef experiences available upon request. Pavilions near the Northern Reef cater to families, while suites offer a more intimate retreat for couples.
Wellness is a central theme, anchored by the Asaya spa and its transformative treatments. Daily rituals include sunrise yoga along the coast, midday renewal sessions at Asaya, and Sukūn Hour at day’s end—a shared pause that encourages guests to unwind as the light softens.
Dining options span eight restaurants and lounges, showcasing Saudi Arabian flavors and culinary traditions. The resort’s opening reinforces AMAALA’s ambition to become a leading wellness and luxury travel destination on the Red Sea coast.
