Rhode Pledges $5 Million to Women's Health Research as Hailey Bieber Speaks on Brand's Growth

Rhode is committing $5 million over three years to the Foundation for Women's Health, its largest philanthropic investment to date. Founder Hailey Bieber linked the push to personal experience and to the brand's rapid growth under E.l.f. Beauty.

The three-year partnership with the Foundation for Women's Health will fund research into conditions affecting women, with Bieber describing the cause as rooted in her own life. She said her sister lives with PMOS, and that friends contend with endometriosis and other specific women's health issues.

Bieber said the scale of Rhode's rise has outpaced her expectations, telling an interviewer she could not have foreseen a year ago where the business would stand today and that it has surpassed her original hopes for the label.

Rhode's sales have also run ahead of what parent company E.l.f. Beauty anticipated, according to the report. E.l.f. acquired Rhode in 2025 in a transaction valued at up to $1 billion.

In May, E.l.f. reported that Rhode had produced more than $500 million in annualized global retail sales and roughly $390 million in net sales in fiscal 2026, a gain of more than 80 percent year over year.

In the interview, Bieber also discussed motherhood, her beauty treatments and her changing role within E.l.f. Beauty, along with the brand's next steps. The philanthropic commitment extends Rhode's existing focus on women's health causes.
