Reflx Lab Unveils Fiery Experimental Film Diablo 100
Chinese brand Reflx Lab launches Diablo 100, a reverse-loaded analog film that produces dramatic red, orange and yellow tones, targeting young creators seeking unique visual effects.
Reflx Lab, a Chinese photographic film and camera accessories brand founded in 2021, has introduced a new experimental product called Diablo 100. The film is designed to break conventional exposure rules by loading standard color film backwards into the canister. This reverse loading forces light to pass through the transparent base before reaching the light-sensitive emulsion, altering the color order.
The resulting images are characterized by fiery hues of deep red, electric orange and saturated yellow, creating dramatic and surreal tones. The brand, known for re-spooling cinematic motion picture films for consumer use, is now moving into avant-garde territory with this release.
Diablo 100 is aimed at Gen Z analog enthusiasts who want to stand out from the homogenized visual style of smartphone photography and AI-generated images. The unpredictable, hands-on nature of the film offers a creative edge in a market dominated by digital algorithms.
Reflx Lab has not announced pricing or availability details for Diablo 100, but the product is expected to appeal to the growing global community of analog photographers.
