Radisson Blu Opens Five-Star Mountain Hotel in Romania's Bucegi Mountains
Radisson Blu has opened a 68-room five-star hotel at Cota 1400 in the Bucegi Mountains, housed in a historic 1939 building with direct ski slope access and a spa.
Radisson Blu has expanded its Romanian portfolio with the opening of Radisson Blu Hotel, Sinaia Cota 1400, a five-star mountain retreat in the Bucegi Mountains. The property, located on Strada Cota 1400, sits directly beside the cable car that connects guests to ski areas between Cota 1400 and Cota 2000.
The hotel is set within a historic building dating back to 1939 and offers 68 rooms with panoramic mountain views. Designed for year-round stays, it features contemporary alpine dining and direct access to outdoor activities such as skiing and hiking.
A signature element is the FORÊT KITSUNE Spa & Wellness, which anchors the hotel's premium wellness offering. The property is positioned as a destination for leisure escapes, wellness retreats, and corporate events across all seasons.
The hotel group highlighted that the opening strengthens Radisson Blu's presence in sought-after European leisure destinations, combining the heritage of a landmark building with modern alpine hospitality and proximity to the Bucegi Mountains.
