Paris Fashion Week Opens with IFM Student Showcase and Valette Studio’s Dadaist Tailoring

The first day of Paris Fashion Week featured two notable events: the annual student runway show from the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) and a presentation from designer Pierre-François Valette's label Valette Studio.
IFM students presented their graduate collections, offering a glimpse into the future of fashion through a variety of styles and concepts. The show served as a launchpad for emerging designers entering the industry.
Meanwhile, Valette Studio's collection blended Dadaist art influences with classic tailoring techniques. Pierre-François Valette, the founder, focused on deconstructed silhouettes and unexpected details, drawing on the avant-garde movement's playful irreverence.
Both events underscored the diversity of creativity on display during Paris Fashion Week, from educational showcases to established independent labels. The presentations marked the start of the week-long fashion calendar in the French capital.
