Mandarin Oriental opens second Dubai hotel in Wasl Tower
Mandarin Oriental has launched its second Dubai property, an urban retreat on Sheikh Zayed Road with expansive rooms, a two-floor spa and multiple pools.
Mandarin Oriental’s new Dubai hotel has opened inside the Wasl Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, marking the group’s second property in the emirate after the beachfront Mandarin Oriental Jumeira. The tower is distinguished by its sculptural twisting form and the region’s tallest ceramic facade.
The development is conceived as a vertical boulevard where hospitality, culture and commerce converge. It houses 259 rooms and suites, 224 private residences, ten dining venues and a state-of-the-art spa.
Wellness facilities at the hotel include a spa spread across two floors, a naturally lit gym, a 25-metre lap pool, a leisure pool and a dedicated kids’ pool with poolside loungers and cabanas.
The rooms and suites are said to be among the largest in Dubai’s luxury hotel segment, with a notable collection of expansive suites. The property’s furnishings and finishes are highlighted as exceptionally high quality.
The central location targets corporate and leisure guests, as well as the growing “bleisure” travel segment that combines business and holiday stays. The tower’s ceramic fins are designed to enhance airflow and support natural cooling, with energy-efficient technologies positioning it as a model for sustainable vertical living.
